Al invented the UtiliShelf Magnetic Desk out of necessity. Al was a Primary Meter Specialist for his local utility for 30 years, were he interrogated electric meters on a regular basis and had nowhere to place his laptop computer. He looked for a solution for the field and found none. Al come up with an idea to make some sort of a unit that will attach to metal since everything he was in front of and worked on was made of metal, so the idea of a magnetic portable shelf was made. He then applied for a provisional patent and went out and showed his prototype at an Electric Meter School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Al had received 213 orders within a few hours of showing his newly invented product and decided to go forward with full production after receiving his Utility Patent. Al then decided to form his company Zepolla Innovations LLC (DBA UtiliShelf Magnetic Desk). He then focused on the Electric Utility Market, Electric Co-operatives and Municipalities. Now 6 years later, Zepolla Innovations now has Nationwide Distribution thru WESCO Distribution and Global Exportation of our product to multiple countries abroad they are: Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Canada, UK, Central America, Ireland, Netherlands, Mexico, Norway, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, & Brazil. We have now grown our customer base beyond the Electric Utilities and now have gained interest in the following industries: HVAC, Agriculture, Military, Automotive, Portable Generation, Communications, GAS, Oil, Mining, Solar, Wind, Railroad, Warehousing, Data Centers, & many more…
